We're your wellness check-in team, whose goal is to remind you to think about wellness and make it a priority in your life. We explore wellness and intertwined categories, such as: Mental, Physical, Spiritual, Economic, Environmental, Artistic, Intellectual and Social Wellness. If we’re thriving in some facets but ignoring others, it affects our overall well-being. Our episodes are about 35 minutes. They’re set up to allow listeners to take in the whole show at once, or in sessions over the course of the week. The segments include:

  • What’s On Your Mind: chat between hosts about a wellness topic (10 minutes)

  • Expanding Minds Interview: We talk to guests about their experiences in the eight areas of wellness we’re exploring. Some explain concepts connected to a facet of wellness. Others are from organizations that foster wellness (15 minutes).

  • Rotation - One of the Following is included each week:

    • Move That Body: we highlight physical activities people enjoy and how the activities make them feel (great!) (5 minutes)

    • Running Popup: John shares a thought on a topic, which often comes together on a long run and Adventures of the Starving Artist: hear about Cameron Earnshaw’s adventures as a musician (5 minutes)

    • Flipside of the Coin: banter between Sheila and John – some fun while discussing wellness in the context of a relationship (5 minutes)

We don’t see wellness as a zero sum game.
Rather, it's generated as we take care of ourselves and inspire others.
We choose optimism, even as we experience challenges and setbacks.
