Pre-Show - Intro and Preview

Lots of introductions in advance of our February 1, 2022 launch. Learn about our origins, our team, our show format and how to connect with us.

You will hear from hosts John Webster and Sammy Damaren, along with team members Cameron Earnshaw, Julie Wilson and Sheila Webster.

We talk about different areas of wellness, including physical, mental, economic, social, artistic, environmental, spiritual and intellectual. If I’m thriving in some facets but ignoring others, it’s at the peril of my overall well-being.

Our episodes will be about 50 minutes. They’re set up to allow listeners to take in the whole show at once, or in sessions over the course of the week. The segments include:

What’s On Your Mind: chat between hosts about a wellness topic (10 minutes).

Expanding Minds Interview: We talk to some guests about their experiences in the eight areas of wellness we’re exploring. Some guests explain concepts connected to a facet of wellness. Others are from organizations that foster wellness. (15 minutes).

Adventures of the Starving Artist: hear about Cameron’s adventures as a musician (4-5 minutes).

Move Your Body highlights physical activities people enjoy and how they make them feel (great!) (5 minutes)

Running Popup is a chance for John to share his thoughts on a discrete point, which often come together on a long run (3-5 minutes).

Flipside of the Coin is banter between Sheila and John – some fun included in discussing wellness in the context of a relationship.
